The author discusses the aspects of posterior inferior cerebral artery (PICA) harboring a saccular aneurysm which set off intraventricular hemorrhage following rupture. He commented on the need to highlight the need of visualization of the upper cervical region in cerebral angiograms to find aberrantly originating PICAs. The author believes that aneurysms of the proximal segment of this artery are more ordinary than those of the distal segment. |
