Diagnostyka i leczenie przewlekłego bólu miednicy u kobiet w wieku około- i pomenopauzalnym jest trudnym problemem klinicznym, wymagającym podejścia interdyscyplinarnego. Liczne badania pomogły w lepszym zrozumieniu patogenezy i patofizjologii bólu tych pacjentek, jakkolwiek końcowy sukces wymaga szczegółowej diagnostyki lekarza ogólnego lub lekarza specjalisty (w zależności od zajętego narządu), którzy potrafią zinterpretować dolegliwości bólowe również w kontekście sytuacji psychospołecznej pacjentki [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
