The article presents a case study of a four year old child. who was found dead in his home. The cause of death was not found. He had abdominal pain and high fever from the past three days and was treated with paracetamol. The autopsy revealed large amounts of transudate mixed with blood. It was found that intestinal obstruction and infarction by abnormal congenital band (ACB) led to death. The article discusses multiple occlusions, necrosis and the omphalomesenteric duct. |
