The article contains materials about the animals of Kundryuchiya hunting farm, located in the Rostov region, which was one of the best hunting farms in the USSR in the second half of the 20th century. Kundryuchiya hunting farm was a hunting reserve from 1999 to 2005, and since 2006 has become a hunting farm of public-private partner-ship. The article notes changes in the species composition and numbers since the 60s of the 20th century until now. The use of past efficient experience in the management of hunting facilities, the involvement of highly qualified scien-tists and specialists in the work, adaptation to modern social, economic and other conditions allow to improve biodi-versity. Despite the reduction of the territory of the hunting economy, the amount of axis deer, European roe deer, steppe marmot, beaver and a number of other hunting animals has increased by more than two. In general, biodiversity has been enriched, including rare and en-dangered species. Kundryuchiya hunting farm is now one of the successful farms on the Donland.
