The article presents a study which compared the cast immobilization and functional treatment in patients with archilles tendon rupture (ATR). The researchers have investigated early mobilization and weightbearing in ATR patients after using an invasive surgical technique. It indicates that the minimally invasive repair of ATR is a safe and reliable technique with favorable results. |
