الوصف: This study examined through qualitative methods how advanced master's-level counseling students conceptualized Christian professional counselor identity. This study also explored what experiences contributed to the understanding of integration of faith and practice. Participants from three different evangelical Christian counseling programs responded to identity and integration prompts through reflective journals during their internship experience. The responses were analyzed using a transcendental, phenomenological approach. The essence of participants' reflections highlighted the developmental nature of identity formation, the importance of personal faith in integration, the significance of experiential learning, the role of personal experiences, and the impact of self-awareness on professional development. Implications for Christian counselor training programs are discussed.
