The article focuses on the location based services (LBS) in three-dimensional (3D) applications. It informs that 3D models are used in applications like engineering design, environmental modeling and urban planning. It tells that 3D is not only for making films but it is also helpful in enhancing the experience of users about the LBS for smartphones which does not need any additional hardware. A diagram related to the general architecture of 3D personal navigation and LBS software is also given. |
