مستخلص: The article focuses on a study which compared the functional outcomes of arthroscopic partial meniscectomy with nonoperative therapy in symptomatic patients with a meniscal tear and knee osteoarthritis. A total of 351 patients were randomly assigned to surgery and postoperative physical therapy or to a standardized physical therapy regimen. Results revealed no significant differences between the study groups in functional improvement 6 months after randomization.
