The article presents a study to assess the value of serum mesothelin value for the diagnosis of ovarian cancer and also to monitor the therapeutic effect of surgical treatment. The study employed 42 patients affected with ovarian cancer who were undergoing surgery. The study revealed that level of mesothelin in serum increases in case of ovarian cancer. |
