The article presents a case study of a 55-year-old woman who was diagnosed with mucinous ovarian cancer followed by a gallbladder cancer. It discusses that the retrospective analyses show that postoperative radiotherapy can extend survival of the patients with gall bladder cancer at the regional stage. It was concluded that suspicions on metastatic disease is important when assessing a mucinous ovarian mass and with multiple recurrent venous thrombophlebitis for early diagnosis and treatment. |
