The article focuses on the physical and functional interaction between calcineurin and the L-type Ca2+ channel (LTCC) in the heart. Results of a research show that calcineurin induces robust increase in chemical activity and highlight calcineurin as the key modulator of pathological electrical remodeling in cardiac hypertrophy. Further analysis also prove the critical impact of their interaction on the function of the heart. |
