مستخلص: The article discusses a study which compared the efficacy and safety of ulipristal acetate with levonorgestrel for emergency contraception. The study involved women with regular menstrual cycles who requested for emergency contraception within 5 days of unprotected sexual intercourse. The researchers concluded that ulipristal acetate offers women and health-care providers with an effective alternative for emergency contraception. A meta-analysis of the trial was also conducted by the authors of the study.
