Le vitiligo est un trouble acquis de la pigmentation. À ce jour, la pathogénie exacte n'est pas connue avec certitude. Le vitiligo universel est une forme rare responsable d'un préjudice esthétique important. Son traitement, un véritable challenge, consiste plutôt à faire disparaître les zones encore pigmentées. Nous rapportons un cas particulier d'une patiente suivie pour vitiligo universel stable depuis le jeune âge, qui a présenté une repigmentation après le début de l'hémodialyse. Vitiligo is an acquired depigmenting disorder. Vitiligo universalis is a rare form responsible for significant aesthetic damage. To date, the exact pathogenesis remains unknown. Its treatment, a real challenge, consists rather in removing the still pigmented areas. We report a case of a patient followed for stable vitiligo universalis from an early age who presented with repigmentation shortly after initiation of hemodialysis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
