| ملاحظات: | Des maçons haïtiens et une équipe de construction haïtiennes travaillant sur la restauration de la Citadelle La Ferrière, aussi connue familièrement par le nom, Citadelle Henry Christophe, un projet géré par ISPAN. Christophe, un héros de la Révolution Haïtienne, fut le seul roi d’Haïti gouverna la région nord du pays de 1811 à 1820. Ces photos font partie de l’archive ISPAN basée au Cap Haïtien. La Citadelle La Ferrière est située dans le seul Parc d’Histoire Nationale en Haïti et a reçu la désignation Patrimoine Mondial de UNESCO en 1982. Construite au début du XIXème siècle par les anciens esclaves noirs pour leur nouvelle république indépendante, la Citadelle est un symbole de la liberté.
