مستخلص: The article presents a study which examined the behavior of coral assemblages after undergoing thermal stress events for 14 years in 1997-2010. It claims that extreme thermal stresses resulted in wide-ranging coral bleaching, mortality and significant shifts in coral community structure. In the study, the researchers examined if the winning species in the short term is also a winner in the long term.
