Objective: The objective is to analyze the influencing factors affecting the development of China’s “Internet + Chinese Medicine and to explore the development path based on national conditions. Methods: The PEST-SWOT model was used to compare and analyze the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats of the “Internet + Chinese Medicine” in the four fields of politics, economy, society and technology. Results: The policy is favorable, lack of effective policies and regulations; the scale of the Internet market is expanding, the scope of medical insurance payment still needs to be explored; social demand is strong, health education needs to be strengthened; technical support has been basically formed, lack of compound talents and lack of information security. Conclusion: The development level of “Internet + Chinese Medicine” needs to strengthen legal support, clarify medical insurance payment items, strengthen TCM health education and personnel training, and ensure information security.
