مستخلص: The article provides information on the history of the development of Canada's early computers in Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. Canada's first effort to build an electronic computer was in the University of Toronto. UTEC, (University of Toronto Electronic Computer), a small prototype was built using novel arithmetic tubes have led to the design and deployment of the world's first computer traffic control system. The company Computing Devices of Canada in Ottawa was created to participate in DATAR (Digital Automated Tracking and Resolving) and another RCN (Royal Canadian Navy) project, a digital electronic naval battle simulator. And the Sperry Gyroscope Company of Canada in Montreal had designed and marketed UMAC-5, the first computer numerical control (CNC) system.
