The article focuses on a study regarding photovoltaic system (PV)-energy storage system (ESS) hybrid systems. According to the study, direct current (dc)-connected PV-ESS system can be used for several purposes such as PV generation loss salvage during faults and balancing supply and demand of current in isolated conditions. It also mentions that alternating current (ac)-connected PV-ESS system has same performance as dc-connected system. |
