الوصف: The Global Positioning System (GPS), with its accurate positioning and timing information, has become a commonly used navigation instrument for many applications. However, it is susceptible to intentional interference such as jamming and spoofing. The conventional antijamming GPS receiver fails to work in a combined jamming and spoofing attack scenario. To solve the problem, a combined antijamming and antispoofing algorithm for a GPS receiver based on an antenna array is proposed. In this method, the jamming is eliminated by subspace projection, and then a compressed sensing framework is adopted to obtain the direction of arrival (DOA) of the despreading satellite navigation signal and detect the spoofing signal. According to the DOA of the authentic and spoofing signals, the receiver uses adaptive multibeamforming to concurrently achieve the undistorted reception of the authentic satellite signal and the suppression of the spoofing. We analyse three aspects of algorithmic performance: the antenna array direction diagram, the spoofing detection and the acquisition results. The simulation results and their analysis preliminarily show that the proposed method can detect and suppress GPS jamming and spoofing effectively.

الوصف: The aim of this research was to identify the prevalence and distribution of vitreoretinal interface abnormalities (VIAs) among urban community population in Shenyang, China. According to the WHO criteria, a cross-sectional study was carried out among 304 Type 2 diabetes (T2D) patients and 304 people without diabetes as control over 45 years old. The presence of VIAs was determined by standardized grading of macular optical coherence tomography (Optovue OCT; Optovue, Inc., Fremont, CA) scans and two-field fundus photographs in at least one eye. For both men and women, high prevalence of VIAs (70.79%) was observed among over 65-years-old T2D patients. Prevalence of VIAs was observed to be high among T2D patients in all age groups compared to normal subjects. Prevalence of VIAs increased with age in all subjects. Prevalence of components of VIAs was epiretinal membrane (ERM) 11.43%, posterior vitreous detachment (PVD) 17.76%, vitreomacular traction syndrome (VMT) 5.67%, macular cysts/macular edema (MC/ME) 4.61%, full-thickness macular hole (FTMH) 0.82%, and partial thickness macular hole (PTMH) 0.74% in any eye, respectively. ERM and MC/ME were more prevalent in T2D in both males and females. The results highlight the need for early detection using OCT and approaches for the prevention of VIAs of diabetes in urban community.

الوصف: The support vector machine (SVM) is one of the most widely used approaches for data classification and regression. SVM achieves the largest distance between the positive and negative support vectors, which neglects the remote instances away from the SVM interface. In order to avoid a position change of the SVM interface as the result of an error system outlier, C-SVM was implemented to decrease the influences of the system’s outliers. Traditional C-SVM holds a uniform parameter C for both positive and negative instances; however, according to the different number proportions and the data distribution, positive and negative instances should be set with different weights for the penalty parameter of the error terms. Therefore, in this paper, we propose density-based penalty parameter optimization of C-SVM. The experiential results indicated that our proposed algorithm has outstanding performance with respect to both precision and recall.

الوصف: This study was intended to identify the shifts in the metabolomics profile of the hepatic tissue damaged by alcohol consumption and verify the potential restorative action of flos carthami (the flowers of Carthamus tinctorius, FC) in the protection of alcohol-induced injury by attenuating the level of identified metabolites. Rats were treated with FC and subsequently subjected to alcohol administration. The serum samples were subjected to liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS)-based metabolomics followed by statistical and bioinformatics analyses. The clustering of the samples showed an obvious separation in the principal component analysis (PCA) plot, and the scores plot of the orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) model allowed the distinction among the three groups. Among the 3211 total metabolites, 1088 features were significantly different between the control and alcohol-treated groups, while 367 metabolites were identified as differential metabolites between the alcohol- and FC-treated rat groups. Time series clustering approach indicated that 910 metabolites in profile 6 were upregulated by alcohol but subsequently reversed by FC treatment; among them, the top 10 metabolites based on the variable importance in projection (VIP) scores were 1-methyladenine, phenylglyoxylic acid, N-acetylvaline, mexiletine, L-fucose, propylthiouracil, dopamine 4-sulfate, isoleucylproline, (R)-salsolinol, and monomethyl phthalate. The Pearson correlation analysis and network construction revealed 96 hub metabolites that were upregulated in the alcohol liver injury model group but were downregulated by FC. This study confirmed the hepatoprotective effects of FC against alcohol-induced liver injury and the related changes in the metabolic profiles, which will contribute to the understanding and the treatment of alcohol-induced acute liver injury.

الوصف: Background. Ferroptosis is an iron-dependent form of cell death. In this study, we identified ferroptosis-related long noncoding RNAs (FRlncRNAs) to investigate their association with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in prognosis, tumor immune environment, and genome instability. Methods. Transcriptome profile data of HCC were retrieved from a public database. FRlncRNAs were identified by co-expression analysis. Patients were randomly divided into training and test cohorts. Univariate Cox analysis and Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator (LASSO) Cox regression were performed to construct a risk model. Patients were divided into high- and low-risk groups based on the risk model. AUC and C index were used to assess the risk model. Survival analysis, immune status, and genome instability were compared between the two groups. Results. Sixteen FRlncRNAs were identified and used to construct an FRlncRNA signature for the risk model. The Kaplan-Meier analysis revealed that patients in the high-risk group had poorer overall survival than patients in the low-risk group. The area under curve of the risk model was 0.879, 0.809, and 0.757 in the training cohort and 0.635, 0.688, and 0.739 in the test cohort at 1, 2, and 3 years, respectively. The risk model was an independent prognostic predictor and showed excellent prediction of prognosis compared with clinicopathological features. For the differentially expressed ferroptosis-related genes, many enriched metabolic pathways were identified in the functional enrichment analysis. Immune cells such as CD8+ T cells, macrophages M1, natural killer cells, and B cells, which may be associated with antitumor immune responses, differed between the high- and low-risk groups. Genome instability based on the risk model was also explored. A total of 61 genes were differently mutated between the two risk groups, and among them, TP53, HECW2, TRIM66, MCTP2, and KIAA1551 had the most significant mutation frequency differences. Conclusion. The FRlncRNA signature is closely related ...

الوصف: This study aimed to evaluate the activity, resistance, clonality of MIC distribution, and the correlation between virulence and resistance genes and biofilm formation of omadacycline (OMC) in clinics for Streptococcus agalactiae isolates from China. 162 isolates were collected retrospectively in China. The S. agalactiae were collected from the body’s cervical secretions, wound secretions, ear swabs, secretions, semen, venous blood, cerebrospinal fluid, pee, etc. The MIC of OMC against S. agalactiae was determined by broth microdilution. The inhibition zone diameters of OMC and other common antibiotics were measured using filter paper. D-test was performed to determine the phenotype of cross resistance between erythromycin and clindamycin. In Multilocus sequence typing (MLST), some commonly-detected resistance genes and virulence gene of these S. agalactiae isolates were investigated using polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Biofilms were detected by crystal violet staining. Our data demonstrated the correalation of the biofilm formation and OMA antimicrobial susceptibility of S.agalactiae clinical isolates with the carrier of virulence gene scpB. Conclusively, OMC exhibits the robust antimcirobial activity against clinical S. agalactiae isolates from China compared with DOX or MIN, and the carrier of the virulence gene scpB might correlate with the biofilm formation in OMC-resistant S. agalactiae.

الوصف: Background. Immunotherapy represented by PD-1 blockades had become the standard of care for advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) gradually. Unfortunately, several PD-1 inhibitor-related studies excluded elderly patients with NSCLC over 75 years of age, resulting in relatively limited evidence regarding the efficacy and safety of PD-1 in elderly patients with NSCLC clinically. Objective. This study aimed to identify the effectiveness and safety of PD-1 blockade monotherapy among elderly patients with advanced NSCLC. Methods. Elderly patients with advanced NSCLC (≥65 years) who received PD-1 blockade monotherapy from September 2018 to December 2021 were screened retrospectively, and a total of 68 elderly patients with NSCLC were eligible for inclusion ultimately. The PD-1 blockades in the study were the available PD-1 monoclonal antibodies that had been approved for marketing in China, including camrelizumab, sintilimab, pembrolizumab, and nivolumab. The effectiveness and safety of the patients was collected retrospectively. Additionally, the correlation between prognosis and baseline characteristic subgroups was analyzed to identify the potential risk factors for progression-free survival (PFS). Results. The median age of the 68 elderly patients with advanced NSCLC was 73 years (range: 65–82 years). Best overall response during PD-1 blockade administration suggested that no patients were found with complete response, partial response was found in 14 patients, stable disease was noted in 29 patients, and 25 patients had progressive disease, yielding an objective response rate (ORR) of 20.6% (95%CI: 11.7%–32.1%) and a disease control rate (DCR) of 63.2% (95%CI: 50.7%–74.6%). Furthermore, prognostic analysis exhibited that the median progression-free survival (PFS) of the 68 patients with advanced NSCLC was 3.5 months (95%CI: 2.4–4.6) and the median overall survival (OS) was 10.5 months (95%CI: 6.3–14.7). Additionally, a total of 48 patients were observed with the treatment-related adverse reaction (70.6%) of ...

الوصف: The kidney tissue image is affected by other interferences in the tissue, which makes it difficult to extract the kidney tissue image features, and it is difficult to judge the lesion characteristics and types by intelligent feature recognition. In order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of feature extraction of kidney tissue images, refer to the ultrasonic heart image for analysis and then apply it to the feature extraction of kidney tissue. This paper proposes a feature extraction method based on ultrasound image segmentation. Moreover, this study combines the optical flow method and the speckle tracking algorithm to select the best image tracking method and optimizes the algorithm speed through the full search method and the two-dimensional log search method. In addition, this study verifies the performance of the method proposed in this paper through comparative experimental research, and this study combines statistical analysis methods to perform data analysis. The research results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper has a certain effect.

الوصف: Globally, diabetes has assumed epidemic proportions with the neuropathic complications attributed to the malady emerging as a substantial burden on patients and society. DNP has greatly affected the daily life of patients, the effect of traditional treatment methods is not ideal, and it is easy to produce drug resistance. This work is aimed at scrutinizing the effect of upregulating the expression of TNFAIP3 on diabetic neuralgia in mice. This work entailed ascertaining the effects of TNFAIP3 on a murine DNP system. This inspired us to observe the analgesic effect via high expression of lentivirus-mediated TNFAIP3 by intrathecal injection in the animal model to explore its regulatory impacts, symptom relief, and mechanistic role in pain. The results displayed an attenuation of hind paw pain hypersensitivity by LV-TNFAIP3 in the animals. The spinal cord and dorsal root ganglion of mice with neuropathic pain displayed an evident dip in TNFAIP3. Inhibition of the ERK/NF-κB signaling pathway employing LV-TNFAIP3 conspicuously suppressed this pathway while the diabetic pain hypersensitivity was quelled. This effect was also seen with insulin treatment evidently. In conclusion, according to the above analyses, the interaction between DNP and extracellular signal-regulated kinase signal transduction pathway is one of the key factors of pathogenesis.

الوصف: Because pulmonary vascular lesions are harmful to the human body and difficult to detect, computer-assisted diagnosis of pulmonary blood vessels has become the focus and difficulty of the current research. An algorithm of pulmonary vascular segment and centerline extraction which is consistent with the physician’s diagnosis process is proposed for the first time. We construct the projection of maximum density, restore the vascular space information, and correct random walk algorithm to satisfy automatic and accurate segmentation of blood vessels. Construct a local 3D model to restrain Hessian matrix when extracting centerline. In order to assist the physician to make a correct diagnosis and verify the effectiveness of the algorithm, we proposed a visual expansion model. According to the 420 high-resolution CT data of lung blood vessels labeled by physicians, the accuracy of segmentation algorithm AOM reached 93%, and the processing speed was 0.05 s/frame, which achieved the clinical application standards.
