This article compares two treatment approaches for patients who have undergone surgery for a grade I skull base meningioma. The first approach is adjuvant radiation therapy immediately after surgery, while the second approach is observation with salvage radiation if necessary. The study found that patients who followed the observation with salvage radiation approach had longer radiation-failure-free survival compared to those who received adjuvant radiation.
