Several types of traditional as well as contemporary methods of project profitability grading are used during the process of investment decision making. Using these methods we get results which provide a review of some certain project. If there is a choice between multiple projects, then form a decision matrix that represents the starting point for decision-making through multi-criteria analysis methods. The first step in a multi-criteria analysis method is the data normalization. Normalization is performed if the measurement scales for the criteria are not the same or comparable, and we calculate the distance of each alternative from the ideal solution. Although, normalization is the first step in ranking projects, it is not something to neglect because the use of different types of normalization we get a different rank order of projects. The impact of normalization of the formation of rankorder the projects present this paper. Here you will be using different types of normalization to determine how it affects the final result of the projects and what type of normalization in the best way to resolve this problem of investment decision making. Prilikom donoŠenja investicione odluke koriste se različiti oblici ocjene rentabilnosti projekta kako tradicionalne tako i savremene metode. KoriŠtenjem tih metoda dobijaju se rezultati koji daju ocjenu određenog projekta. Ukoliko postoji izbor između viŠe projekata tada se formira matrica odlučivanja koja predstavlja polaznu osnovu za odlučivanje putem metoda viŠekriterijske analize. Prvi korak kod koriŠtenja metoda viŠekriterijske analize je normalizacija podataka. Normalizacija se vrŠi ukoliko mjerne skale za kriterije nisu iste ili usporedive, te se izračunava udaljenost pojedine alternative od idealnog rjeŠenja. Iako normalizacija predstavlja prvi korak pri rangiranju projekata ona nije bezazlena jer upotrebom različitih tipova normalizacije dobijamo drugačiji rang poredak projekata. Upravo uticaj normalizacije na formiranje rang poretka projekata prezentira ovaj rad. Ovdje će se koriŠtenjem različitih tipova normalizacije odrediti kako ona utiče na konačan rezultat projekata i koji tip normalizacije na najbolji način pomaže u rjeŠavanju ovoga problema investicionog odlučivanja.
