| الوصف: | Trabalho de conclusão de curso (graduação) - Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, Centro de Ciências Sociais e Humanas, Curso de Comunicação Social - Jornalismo, RS, 2015. ; Faced with a context in which part of Brazilian society still condemns sexual practices that do not correspond with heterosexuality, the present research investigates the representation built about the LGBT population on the television show "Amor & Sexo", displayed in open channel by Rede Globo, whose promise is to treat about issues related to sex and relationships in a relaxed way. We intend to verify how the program represents women and men who do not identify with heterosexuality, from the identification of episodes with contents that deal about these people, the preponderant elements and the construction of the discourse about the LGBT population. For this, we rely on the reflections made mainly by Judith Butler (2014), Serge Moscovici (2011) and Stuart Hall (2003) in order to understand how is the construction of gender notions in society and how the social representations influence the television discourse. We used the methodological approach of Discourse Analysis according to Benetti (2007) and Orlandi (2001) and the study of television texts in accordance with Duarte (2004) in order to understand how the discourse of "Amor & Sexo" is constituted. Through the analysis, we found that the program sustains ideas that reinforce stereotypes and consequently lead to the degradation of behaviors which do not follow the heteronormativity. There is the appreciation of specific aspects, such as the union of persons of the same sex and the formation of families, but the program's discourse disclaims itself to discuss and problematize relevant issues such as prejudice. ; Diante de um contexto em que parte da sociedade brasileira ainda condena as práticas sexuais que não condizem com a heterossexualidade, o presente trabalho de pesquisa procura investigar a representação construída sobre a população LGBT no programa televisivo “Amor & ... |
