The article discusses a study on the foodborne transmission of Hepatitis E virus from raw pork liver sausage in France. The study cited the case of a 45-year-old woman who was diagnosed with acute hepatitis based on her elevated liver enzymes. It detected HEV RNA from leftover sausages consumed by the patient. |
