Because of its unique properties, XO has been used in food, medicine and health care widely. As additives for functional foods, XO impels economy to create a great deal of nutrimental substance and presents prebiotic action. But its application in animal husbandry in China has just started. The research progress of xylo-oligosaccharide’s physical-chemical properties, value and application in layer production is introduced in this article especially. |
