مستخلص: The article reports on the study that evaluates the effect of dietary intervention and quadriceps strengthening exercise on pain and function in overweight people with knee pain. It indicates that loss of between 5% and 10% of baseline body weight improves clinical outcomes in obese adults with knee osteoarthritis, particularly when combined with low-intensity exercise. However, it suggests that achieving long-term and intentional weight loss in adults is difficult.
