الوصف: We report the synthesis of CoFe2O4 nanoparticles (NPs) through a novel one-step coprecipitation method. These NPs were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and Raman spectroscopy. These nano ferrites were successfully used for the synthesis of 3, 4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones and thiones. They can be easily recovered by simple filtration and their catalytic activity remains nearly unaltered even after 4 consecutive cycles, making them ecofriendly and widely applicable due to their efficiency, ease of handling, and cost effectiveness. We report the synthesis of CoFe2O4 nanoparticles (NPs) through a novel one-step coprecipitation method.
