مستخلص: The article discusses developing mobile communications technology and its impact on sales communications. The implications for sales people of technologies such as Bluetooth hands-free cellular telephones, voice over Internet protocol (VoIP), and social networking web sites are discussed. The proliferation of these technologies requires the development of etiquette for sales people, including asking permission to send clients videos, voice recordings, or other large files. Fragmented communication found in text messages and e-mails may not be suitable for business communications. Considerations must also be made for data security.
