The article discusses a study which aims to compare the safety, effectiveness, and tolerance of endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) with the transesophageal endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) using an endobronchial ultrasound scope (EBUS) in the initial diagnosis of mediastinal lesions. Topics include the use of patients with hilar/mediastinal lymph nodes or tumors, and cough and oxygen desaturation results. |
