| الوصف: | 94 As the trend of e-business becomes irresistible for the survivability of an enterprise, enterprise application software such as ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning), SCM (Supply Chain Management), and CRM (Customer Relationship Management), has grown tremendously. As a result, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) has become a serious problem that entangles MIS people. In this paper, we propose a Model Driven Architecture (MDA) for integrating workflow management system (WFMS) and ERP system. In this study, we used Unified Modeling Language (UML), which is the standard language for dialogue between software-developing groups. The proposed architecture is implemented using IBM Lotus Notes and Oracle ERP as WFMS and ERP, respectively. The experimental results show that our architecture has the benefits of low input cost, low system conversion cost, and integration of heterogeneous database for supporting enterprise decision making. |
