Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), according to the American Psychiatric Association (APA), is a neurodevelopmental disorder with an early onset and a chronic, non-degenerative course. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), one in 160 children has the disorder. The purpose of this work is a literature review about the effectiveness of interventions in social skills in people with ASD. To carry out the research, the databases PEPSIC, SCIELO, Google Scholar, BVS, BIREME and CAPES were used. In all, 25 national articles were selected, in the period from 2006 a 2020. The keywords used for the search were “autism”, “theory of mind”, “social skills”, “applied behavior analysis” and “ABA”. Repeated articles that did not have the variables sought were excluded. As a result, data on the effectiveness of the interventions described in increasing social skills and variables related to them were found. The main focuses found were for autism and theory of mind, data on conceptualization and definition. For ABA and music therapy interventions, data on research and practice, also showing more consistency in the data. ; El Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA), según la Asociación Americana de Psiquiatría (APA), es un trastorno del neurodesarrollo de aparición temprana y curso crónico no degenerativo. Según la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS), uno de cada 160 niños tiene el trastorno. El propósito de este trabajo es una revisión bibliográfica acerca de la efectividad de las intervenciones en habilidades sociales en personas con TEA. Para realizar la investigación se utilizaró las bases de datos PEPSIC, SCIELO, Google Scholar, BVS, BIREME y CAPES. En total, se seleccionaron 25 artículos nacionales, en el periodo de 2006 a 2020. Las palabras clave utilizadas para la búsqueda fueron “autismo”, “teoría de la mente”, “habilidades sociales”, “análisis conductual aplicado” y “ABA”.
