الملخص (بالإنجليزية): In recent decades, the migratory phenomenon has greatly intensified both globally and nationally, and it is foreseeable that it will increase even more in the future due to the onset of new conflicts, economic, food, and climate crises. The migrant population now constitutes a very high percentage of the entire Italian population, and this raises the question of how to insert these subjects into the new social reality through measures that are not discriminatory and do not involve the violation of human rights, including the right to health. To formulate concrete responses aimed at reducing the health vulnerability of these subjects, it is essential to know the epidemiology of migration phenomenon. The objective of this study is to describe the data on the migratory phenomenon with particular attention to migrants in the Italian territory. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Italian): Il fenomeno migratorio negli ultimi decenni si èfortemente intensificato sia a livello globale che nazionale ed è prevedibile che aumenterà ulteriormente in futuro a causa dell’insorgenza di nuovi conflitti, crisi economiche, crisi alimentari e climatiche. La popolazione migrante costituisce ormai una percentuale molto elevata dell’intera popolazione nazionale, e questo dato pone l’interrogativo su come realizzare l’inserimento di questi soggetti nella nuova realtà sociale attraverso misure che non siano discriminatorie e che non comportino la violazione dei diritti umani, tra cui ovviamente il diritto alla salute. Per formulare delle risposte concrete volte a ridurre la vulnerabilità̀ sanitaria di questi soggetti, èfondamentale evidenziare le principali criticità in ambito di assistenza sanitaria. L’obiettivo di questo studio è di descrivere i dati sul fenomeno migratorio ponendo particolare attenzione alla situazione italiana. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
