The article deals with one of the problems in teaching higher educational establishment students - the low and different level of students` preparation in mathematics and other natural science subjects. Consequently, there are problems in mastering the subjects of geodesy and organization of land exploitation, as well as in their teaching. These subjects comprise a special place in Riga Technical University and in Latvia University of Agriculture, where the engineers of organization of land exploitation, geodesy and geomatics are prepared. The research was carried out to clear up the students` prior knowledge in mathematics, physics and geography. The results of the study confirmed the statement about insufficient preparation of students. The students` answers to questions and tasks from area of mathematics, physics and geography were analyzed. The best results in contrast with Latvia University Agriculture and Daugavpils University have shown the students of Riga Technical University that indicates students` good preparation for studying subjects of geodesy and land surveying. Rakstā apskatīta viena no augstskolu problēmām studentu apmācībā inženierspecialitāšu jomās -- zemais un atšķirīgais studentu priekšzināšanu līmenis matemātikā un citos dabaszinātņu priekšmetos. Tam kā sekas ir problēmas ģeodēzijas un mērniecības priekšmetu apguvē, kā arī to docēšanā. Īpašu vietu šie priekšmeti ieņem Latvijas Lauksamniecības universitātē (LLU) un Rīgas Tehniskajā universitātē (RTU), kur sagatavo zemes ierīcības, ģeomātikas un ģeodēzijas inženierus. Veikts pētījums RTU, LLU un Daugavpils universitātē (DU) ar mērķi noskaidrot šo universitāšu studentu priekšzināšanas matemātikā, fizikā un ģeogrāfijā. Apkopojot pētījuma rezultātus, apstiprinājās apgalvojums par studentu nepietiekošajām priekšzināšanām. Analizētas studentu atbildes uz jautājumiem un uzdevumiem no matemātikas, fizikas un ģeogrāfijas jomām. Labākus rezultātus salīdzinājumā ar LLU un DU parādījuši RTU respondenti, tātad viņi ir labāk sagatavoti ģeodēzijas un mērniecības priekšmetu apguvei. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
