مستخلص: The authors discuss aspects of the contribution of β-catenin activation by Gαs to the etiology of phenotypes in McCune-Albright syndrome and fibrous dysplasia (FD). They are critical on the condition of FD to the enhanced proliferation of osteoblast precursors with terminal differentiation failure. Also investigated is the significant morbidity effect on the structural alterations in FD including limb-length discrepancies, angular deformity and fracture.
