The city is the most prominent areas of human housing, stability and organization of manufacturing. It is a manual human manifestation of the manner of the change in the time of the other. The importance of studying human factors through its representation of the dynamic element affecting the development of human structures, whether regular or random, the growth of the city's population and the highlight of migration rates are accompanied by the resource balance of the residential balance as well as the expansion of the city of non-organized city of the most prominent causes of the phenomenon. تعد المدينة ابرز مناطق سكن اإلنسان واستقراره وتنظيمه المكاني فهي ظاهرة حضارية من صنع اإلنسان تتصف بسرعة التغير من مدة ألخرى ، و ان نمو سكان المدينة وارتفاع معدالت الهجرة نحوها مصحوبا بعجز الرصيد السكني فيها فضال عن التوسع المساحي للمدينة غير المنظم من اهم اسباب ارتفاع معدالت السكن العشوائي في المدن, ان الرغبة في الحصول على مساكن رخيصة الثمن وبدون موافقات وإجراءات بلدية وحكومية نتيجة غياب التخطيط الحكومي ولعدم وجود سياسات اسكانية تأخذ على عاتقها معالجة مشاكل السكن والمتمثلة بتوزيع قطع االراضي السكنية على مستحقيها من شرائح المجتمع المشمولة بالتوزيع كان من ابرز العوامل التي تسببت في ارتفاع معدالت السكن العشوائي في مدينة الشرقاط.
