مستخلص: A recent study conducted by researchers from the University of Indonesia examined the association between antenatal care (ANC) utilization and low birth weight (LBW) children among women with high-risk births. The study utilized data from the 2017 Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey and found that adequate ANC utilization was significantly associated with LBW among women with more than two children. Preterm birth was also found to be more likely to result in LBW. The researchers concluded that there is a need for increased monitoring of pregnant women with high-risk births and for improved implementation of qualified ANC standards.
