The article describes a surgical technique for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction using one of several commercially available antegrade femoral aiming guides. A review of related literature on ACL reconstruction techniques is offered. It discusses indications and contraindications for ACL reconstruction. It describes the technique of drilling the femoral tunnel through a two centimeter lateral incision. |
