مستخلص: The article discusses the diagnosis and treatment of angiomyolipoma (AML) and presents a case report of a 44-year-old suffering from AML. AML is a benign renal tumor composed of adipose tissue, smooth muscle cells, and blood vessels. Twenty percent of these tumors are seen in patients with tuberous sclerosis (TS), which is an autosomal-dominant disorder characterized by mental retardation and epilepsy. Although benign, AMLs are similar in appearance to both benign and malignant tumors.
