The article presents a study on the use of a novel method to examine the prevalence, causes and consequences of hypertranscription in human cancer. Topics discussed include the characterization of hypertranscription, the effect of the loss of transcriptional suppression on the hypertranscriptional phenotype, and the implications of the study for identifying patients who would benefit from novel therapies. |
