الوصف: This project investigates tornado hotspots in the Southern states of the United States. My research question is: do tornadoes tend to follow consistent paths? In other words, are certain areas more prone to tornado damage? I will look at tornado paths for the past 50 years using data from the National Oceanic and Atmosphere Administration (NOAA) in order to determine areas that have experienced multiple tornadoes. I will also use UAV (drone) technology to examine some locally affected areas in North Alabama, and interview local residents in order to record their experiences and sense of tornado paths. The results will help in preparing for future tornadoes.
