The article evaluates whether there are associations between pregnancy intention and negative birth and maternal outcomes. The study found that women with unwanted pregnancies had an increased likelihood of preterm delivery and premature rupture of membranes. The authors concluded that pregnancies intention, specifically unwanted and ambivalent, may be a sign of increased risk for some poor birth and maternal outcomes. |
