The article discusses a study on whether patients with acute ischemic stroke selected on the basis of results of computed tomography (CT) and CT angiography (CTA) will benefit from rapid endovascular treatment involving contemporary endovascular techniques. Topics discussed include randomization performed using real-time, dynamic and randomized minimization procedure and the benefit of endovascular treatment in patients having moderate-to-severe ischemic stroke. |
