The article presents a case series of patients with acute onset of vertical diplopia and bilateral conjugate bilateral vertical gaze (VGP) palsy. The patients are reported with strokes at the right mesodiencephalic junction (MDI) sparing the posterior commissure, resulting in conjugate bilateral. The occurrence of a conjugate bilateral combined up- and down-gaze VGP following a unilateral lesion of MDJ sparing the posterior commissure is confirmed. |
