مستخلص: The article analyzes different types of receiver implementations and the characteristics that describe receiver performance. A receiver needs to perform several actions on a received signal so that the modulation information can be deciphered and processed. Selectivity and sensitivity are considered important characteristics of a receiver. The superheterodyne receiver is a common receiver configuration which translates an RF input signal to a lower-frequency intermediate-frequency (IF) signal.
