مستخلص: Administrative health data for 1986 to 2013 was used to identify the prevalence of childhood developmental disability in British Columbia. A total of 26,320 children who have a developmental disability were found in the data set. Prevalence increased for all categories of developmental disability over the 27-year period. Following 2010, the rate of increase in prevalence for all categories of developmental disability slowed. The increase in prevalence was greatest for autism spectrum disorder. Prevalence data is important to have for planning programs and services for people who have a developmental disability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
