The authors comment on the grazing livestock in the U.S. facing challenges in antiparasitic resistance, specifically resistance to anthelmintics among gastrointestinal parasites of cattle and horses. They say antiparasitic resistance is both a health and a welfare issue and potentially threatens animal agricultural production.
