مستخلص: |
The article presents a case study of a 10-year-old girl who was taken to the hospital in a septic shock condition. The patient , who was described as previously healthy, was diagnosed with Group A Streptococcus (GAS) primary peritonitis and toxic shock syndrome (TSS) through polymerase chain reaction (PCR). It suggests that bacterial PCR has potential benefit in determining primary peritonitis' causative agent. |
