مستخلص: The article presents a study on the early stage and oviposition of Veladyris pardalis (V. pardalis). The study used larvae samples which oviposition behaviors from last instar to eclosion were observed. Results show that female larvae prefer oviposition sites during sunny days and lays 1 to 4 eggs at a time. The study also reveals the similarities of immature V. pardalis with some Godyridini and Dircennini, suggesting that these species are the second in ithomiine with four larval stadia.
