This article discusses a case of a 48-year-old female patient who presented with erythematous, annular lesions on her right wrist and left leg. The patient had no history of drug intake, trauma, or insect bites, and complained of moderate pruritus. A skin biopsy revealed neutrophilic figurate erythema, and the patient was treated with topical steroids and antihistamines, resulting in the resolution of the lesions within two weeks. The article emphasizes the importance of considering neutrophilic figurate erythema as a potential diagnosis for erythematous scaly annular plaques and ruling out underlying illnesses, including malignancies.
