| الوصف: | Diderot: Political tales and Politic of the tale. Speculation and fiction are closely blended in Denis Diderot’s works. Abstract thinking, narrative and disputatio are very difficult to take apart at first sight. The truth is that the association of the theoretical reflection and the actualisation by the language is needed to allow the philosophical thought to progress. Les Deux Amis de Bourbonne, l’Entretien d’un père avec ses enfants, Ceci n’est pas un conte, Madame de La Carlière et le Supplément au voyage de Bougainville – Laurent Versini called them 1770’s tales – can be seen as a real whole. They all share the same composition and topic, in relation with the thematic of this issue of Féeries: the connection between tale and politics.The late 1760’s years and moreover the 1770’s decade is a very special period for the evolution of Diderot’s mind. The works of this time are inclined to deal with ethics and politics. Most of the books he wrote by then are about the theory of the three codes – natural, civil and religious – and the relation between literature, reality and credibility. The 1770’s tales appear as a kind of special experimenting space for the political thought of a man who cares about the relationship between the person and the group, and who is wondering whether we can conciliate individual freedom with collective wellness. ; Spéculation et fiction se trouvent intimement mêlées dans l’œuvre de Denis Diderot, sans que l’on puisse jamais totalement isoler le raisonnement abstrait du récit et de la disputatio. Le caractère hybride des textes n’est qu’apparent, la fusion entre conceptualisation théorique et actualisation discursive est nécessaire au progrès de la réflexion du philosophe.
