| الوصف: | In today's globalized economy, the reference's areas in which the private and public actors operate have become larger than the political boundaries. Switzerland cannot escape this reality. The break down of the economic borders has raised the question whether the existence of 26 small political and territorial units—the cantons—does not appear elusive without an increased intercantonal co-operation. This article aims to determine whether the recent proposal to merge cantons is an appropriate form of intercantonal co-operation. |
